City rally - puzzle fun around the castle town
Watch out sleuths!
The Altena town rally starts in the courtyard of Altena Castle and takes puzzle fans of all ages to the Gustav Velve monument, Haus-Köster-Emden, the Middle Bridge and the Klusenberg. Delightful rhymes and great drawings accompany you to the solution of the riddle. You can download the rally or print it out at the tourist information office in Köster-Emden House.
Treasure hunt
Explore the town center of Altena with Knight Eberhard, solve tricky puzzles and find the treasure. The treasure hunt is suitable for children aged 6 and over. Duration approx. 70-90 minutes.

Apollo Service Cinema
The traditional cinema, which became a movie theater in 1924 and was renamed the "Apollo" in the 1950s, is known not only for its great ambience, comfortable seats and attention to detail, but also for its service. As early as 1924, sandwiches and drinks were served with the movie. Even today you don't have to do without them. Classic cinema snacks, food and drinks can be ordered from your seat at the touch of a button.
Shooting festivals
The Altena shooting festival takes place every three years. Lots of green caps march through the streets, everything is decorated and there is wild partying in the large marquee.
The bird is also shot in the districts of Evingsen and Dahle.
